Staff is nice on positive. Money wise they keep jacking up price for everything they have to help her with and charge increase prices daily. So be Prepared to lose all your savings

I visited the memory care facility of Academy Point at Mystic. There were only 13 units in the memory care, so it's very personal. It's not like a big machine warehousing people, so that's one of the things that I like. I got to see everybody eating and doing whatever they do, and I'm right in there with the population. It's clean and modern-looking, even though it's an old building. The inside is just beautiful, and security is very well-maintained. The person who gave the tour got ba…

PositiveOur family's experience
Academy Point is the perfect place for our 95yo mom. She enjoys the activities provided, socializing at meal times and having visitors. The staff is very friendly and everyone knows her name. They check in on her several times a day. Her 1BR unit is a little small but she has gotten used to it. We are happy with our choice.
