PositiveI spent 24 hours in another facility before having the good luck to get a bed in Advanced Health Care, with great nurses and CAIs, not to mention goof food. I was there for three weeks and given the facility allows overnight stays by family it lessened my homesickness. I cannot recommend this facility higher. The first facility I was at for 24 hours was like a horror movie. Stay away from [facility removed]. AWFUL.

PositiveI stayed in a rehab center called Advanced Health Care of Albuquerque, and it was wonderful. They're just for rehab even though they have 40 rooms. It was outstanding. The room was spacious. It had a large armoire, it had a good-sized TV for being in the room so much, and it had a little efficiency sort of kitchen with a counter, a sink, a mini-fridge and a microwave like you would find in some hotels or motels, and I like that a lot. They had a gym, they had a doctor, they had two nurses, and they had quite a…

CriticalFood was tasty and well prepared. PTs, OTs, and Speech therapists were good and well trained. Nurses and nurse assistants were attentive and friendly. The administration was disorganized, inconsistent, not honest, and at times rude. They canceled doctor's appointments and treatments without approval of the patient's primary doctor and without permission of the patient and family. With an autoimmune deficiency, the cancelations were life-threatening. After threatening to sue AHC of ABQ if any harm came to …

PositiveThe staff at Advanced Health Care of Albuquerque was very good. I got to talk to some but due to COVID, I was unable to get into the facility. Everyone I talked to was very helpful, though, and my father was very pleased with the service he got there. The facility is excellent. I would imagine the food was, at least, okay to good. Nothing bad about it and I have not seen any negative reviews on it. It was a little on the expensive side, but they provided everything they said they would. The facilities and the staff…

PositiveMy husband came from rehab at Advanced Health Care of Albuquerque. He was there for 17 days. It's a very nice-looking place. The rooms and the hallways were very large. He liked almost all of the staff. The only problem was the Covid lockdown, so it was difficult to get in to see him. They had a lockdown when he went there, and then the lockdown got lifted. I got to go in and see him for two days, and then they had another lockdown. It's a good place to go if you have a patient advocate or a family member…

CriticalA relative had been here before and she was extremely happy with the care, so mom chose to come here for Rehab after having been in the hospital. Daily therapy sessions times were listed her daily on her board, but many days she was either forgotten or other issues occurred, she sat there waiting. No body bothered to give here an explanation. Long story short, she did NOT receive enough therapy before being discharged. Now for the care she received! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The daytime care was great & so were the Dr'…
