CriticalMy mom enjoyed her respite care at Aegis Lodge. The facility is nice and the staff were super friendly and welcomed her with kindness and smiles. The meals were good and the wait staff very friendly. She is a memory care resident and could have used more discipline with her food choices for a balanced diet. Also her personal care with incontinence could have been better. Overall she enjoyed her stay was good.
★★★★★
PositiveThe staff turn over is low (many key staff have been there since we started last summer), the food is amazing, always clean, as mom's dementia has progressed. We see them meeting her needs at each step.
★★★★★
PositiveAl (general manager), [name removed](community coordinator) are both outstanding.. We love the aids in memory care ([name removed], [name removed], [name removed]and others) the staff turn over has been limited and we always find them helpful... The food is great (mom has put on some weight!) and we always find everything clean and welcoming. My only issue has been consistent communication which I think is very common in memory care units.
★★★★★
PositiveHave been here a little over 5 years. Yummy food, comfortable rooms and beautiful landscaping. A truly wonderful Assisted Living facility, with caring employees and a great General Manager, [name removed].
★★★★★
PositiveI am so happy here, Aegis Lodge is wonderful. Moved in and brought my Mom and Husband ... in fact had 3 rooms! Love it here, great staff, yummy food choices and beautiful surroundings. Move here and you'll never regret it. D. Dobrey

CriticalMy mother has been at Aegis Lodge for about 5 1/2 years. When my mother entered Aegis Lodge it was a well maintained place with good food. As the years have gone by the place has become unmanaged, the housekeeping is horrible and the food is awful. It is definitely not chef quality as they advertise. My sister has complained repeatedly about the housekeeping and food with no avail. I just recently visited my mother and her apartment was filthy, her sheets, clothes and towels after being laundered were all crumpled …
