My husband has been a resident at Allegro Senior Living Memory Care Unit for the past two years. He has accepted the fact that he needs a lot of extra care and tells me every day that everyone is treating him well there. His profession was a licensed psychologist for 55 years and he served in the Marines as a Captain in Vietnam. It was very difficult for me to move him into a facility when his dementia worsened. However after watching the care givers whom are very kind, professional and efficient, and seeing how we…

I am/was a resident of this facility

I stayed for assisted living respite care at Allegro Fort Lauderdale. What I liked the most was the food. Everybody was also super nice. They were there and were really super helpful, and everybody is very kind. The physical appearance is top-of-the-line. The care and services are just fine, and I'm very satisfied. The staff was fabulous. I was shocked by the menu. It was two pages, and it was for every kind of diet you could think of. I have resided at Allegro Fy Lauderdale since it opened in November 2023. It is my opinion that, although the structure is beautiful, it was not constructed with elderly people in mind. l am in an independent one bedroom apartment, and the top shelves of the cabinets in the small kitchen are too high to be reached without standing on a stoop, as is the dryer in this stackable washer and dryer set. The lighting in the entire apartment leaves a lot to be desired for those of us with failing eyesight. The initial exec…

I can't say enough good about Allegro Fort Lauderdale. The facilities are first rate, the dining room is five star in service and quality of the food and the staff couldn't be nicer. After having two negative experiences in other Assisted Living facilities I am so very pleased and relieved to know my loved one is now in good hands. Thank you everyone at Allegro !

Unfortunately have lived in the newly built Allegro in Fort Lauderdale, FL since December 2023 just after it opened. Top Administrative Person doesn’t take responsibility for his actions and blames his Directors for his bad decisions, his poor leadership and poor communication skills. Again, creating a negative atmosphere full of stress. Don’t recommend this place.
