Everything you have read about this place is VERY VERY True a friend of mine sister was in there and smell and rooms are all on point. they grossly under staff the picture or very miss leading once you get to second floor; you are in another world patients in hallway hangout PLEASE DONT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also patient need a special diet they gave wrong food and over medic

I had my brother in this facility, and the hallways in the floor smell like urine and it also smells like shit in a lot of times i went to visit. And in there website they show a beautyfull room in black and white ,the bathrooms have fancy sinks and faucets, but my brothers room did not look like the room in their website ,in addition don,t let them fool you because that room they show on their site is a demo room alot of the there equipment is out dated .i can go on and on how unorginized this facility is.the firs…

The facility needs a serious upgrade. It always smells like the sewer system is backed up. More than likely you will see nurses and aides hanging out and complaning on their paitents. The Case Manager seems to care for you family memeber but once you complain, your services will be downgraded. The are under a new management but really nothing has changed

My mother is in Alaris Health at Essex. She's concerned that the staff isn't well trained. However, it's up to par physically and clean. There's nothing wrong with the facility, but the staff needs to be checked upon. She didn't have any complaints about the food. She said that the calendar is filled with activities, and there are many things she can choose from.

my mom had a excellent time there. rehab and nursing were great. dietary was ok for a nursing home but, she wasnt there for the food. would recommend again. the administrator was very friendly and has a open door policy, even goes as far as to give out his number and also picks up the phone when you call him. the facility beautiful and clean. Good job Irvington.
