Our experience

Expensive but worth it. [name removed] and her staff provided excellent care to my husband who had severe dementia. The food was good. She fed my husband by hand.

Personalized care, highly recommend.

[name removed] really works with the needs of her patients and family She's pretty amazing. It was a personal home, not a nursing home. Much more 1 on 1 care for less money.

Although [name removed] was combative he received personalized care. He enjoyed the home cooked meals. We liked there were only two men and six residents in this facility. There was a friendly dog patients could interact with. [name removed] was unable to participate due to his dementia. I loved the easy access to Amalia. I no longer wish to associated with A Place For Mom. Please take my name off your list immediately Thank you. It bothers me a lot you charge the facility even though I had gotten the name…

Peace of mind

It's a wonderful place. We are very happy with Mom's care there. They are kind, and caring and communicate very well. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well-run. I know my mom is safe while getting the best care. I live in NY and Mom is in California. I am a nurse and feel so relieved that mom is in Amalia's safe hands.

Outstanding Care and Compassion

My Dad was diagnosed with severe dementia and I didn't know where to go and how to start the process of finding quality care for him. I started with A Place For Mom and they directed me to Amalia's Place. From day one [name removed] and her team provided exceptional care for my Dad until his passing. [name removed] went above and beyond in her care and compassion for my Dad. She is an angel. I would highly recommend Amalia's Place for the care of your loved one.
