AMANI ADULT FAMILY HOME

I visited this adult family home in a nursing capacity and was impressed by the warm, family-like environment. All residents and caregivers were female, and the residents appeared happy, comfortable, and well-engaged with staff. The posted menu offered a good variety of meals that accommodated different preferences, reflecting thoughtful planning. The home was clean, well-maintained, and welcoming, and the owner was very friendly, contributing to an overall positive and supportive atmosphere.

The woman I spoke with there was very welcoming and very forthcoming with information. I felt like we made a connection, and I really liked her. But it was quite a distance from my home. The décor was very dark. And the layout was kind of awkward, with a lot of angles, sharp turns, and hallways. So I wasn't sure how easy it would be for my loved one to maneuver around there. But it would have been a good second choice.

Taking Steps To Ensure Great Care

With transition there can be struggles and they have ironed it out. They have been working with me and taking many steps to keep my loved one there. It has been much smoother. The meals activities and cleanliness have been a 5. My loved one has a random eating habit and the staff work with the meals for them. They have been good at communicating to me with the extra details.
