Wonderful facility and overall care for my mother

My mother enjoys living at American House. Overall, she receives excellent care. The facility is beautiful and the social activities are nice. She’s had occasional issues with her laundry being lost or returned wet. Occasionally, ive had difficulty reaching a staff member when nobody is at the front desk.

[name removed] was great at answering all of our questions. The tour was very thorough. I appreciated her reaching out after the tour and offering tips on how to address my dad’s apprehension with making the transition.

Lack of care, cleanliness and communication. Neglect and abuse were experienced.

The young lady I met and toured with was so awesome , super nice , staff seemed friendly . The facility offer a lot of services which was good . It was just a little dark inside the facility , obviously this is something that the staff could not control so it’s not their fault at all overall still a really good place.

My mother moved into American house about five months ago. She was really against moving into an assisted living home at first. But once she met with the [name removed] there she really warmed up to the idea. [name removed] and everyone was so welcoming and eased her worries. She really enjoys living there, she has made many friends and loves all the activities they do there. They recently even asked her to be an ambassador which means she meets with new people when they move in or visit to help answer questions th…

I would recommend it.

I would give all these categories a five. The apartment size is the best I've seen and my dad has been in three other facilities. The bathroom in each room is a huge thing. Activities are several everyday and they are both inside and outside the facility on property. They also have their own bus to do road trips. They usually do one or two road trips each month. Example, they went to gatlinburg aquarium and to lunch. I was able to go also and meet them there. Food and cleanliness are to notch. The staff is absolute…
