I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom was a resident of Andover Court for nearly two years. For the most part I was fairly pleased with their care of my mom. In those two years her care level rose from a three to a six which of course increased her monthly charges. My concern about her residency was, in visiting her, I would be with her anywhere from 3 to 7 hours a day. During that entire time not a single person came in to check on her. My father has moved into Andover Court. The reasons why I chose them are because of the staff, the layout of the facility, and how it made you feel. It's a home environment. They have different activities. They have social gatherings. The other day, they had an ice cream social. They have weekly bingo. And they have a beautiful outdoor court where the residents can go and enjoy being outdoors. I haven't sampled their food, but it sure smells good, and it looks good.

A community of new friends

Andover Court was terrific for Mom. Unfortunately, she just lived there 6 weeks before she passed in the hospital; they properly called the ambulance when she needed medical assistance, and she died about 24 hours later. Very good experience. We have already recommend this community to other families and we have continued to recommend them.

Our Experience

My parents are residents at Andover Court and they love it there! However, they can't keep their super great staff and they quit. Corporate will not pay the staff what they are worth, so they leave for other jobs. There is continuous turnover and it's hard on the residents. They have had excellent staff! The food is cold, and overcooked. My parents complain. They can't keep a good chef because they won't pay them. They just lost their wonderful activities director because they wouldn't give her a raise. She is the …

Consistent staff

After visiting about 8 places, I decided on Andover Court just because of the over all atmosphere was home like feel where I felt comfortable leaving my mother. They are very very friendly I see the same staff consistently and they really get to know what my mom likes and dislikes and try to make their place her home

Mom is well cared for

They have been amazing She has gone from a level 4 to level 2 care .. she is doing so much better.
