They take great care of my mom!

We've just been very happy with the care at Apple Grove. She has a semi-private room, so it's not a lot of space but it's big enough. They don't spend much time in their rooms anyways. The staff is very caring.

Pleased with Apple grove

My overall rating of Apple -grove is a 5. I haven't been there doing feeding time, therefore I can't rate the food. Activities, I saw once when I toured but I assume they follow the monthly calendar of activities. All the others that I see and interacting with staff and how they interact with residents is very good, I am very pleased with that.

A reassuring experience.

The director discussed the emotional and mental needs of someone with dementia. She stated that the supervision and interaction with the staff is dependent on the individual patient's level. This was never addressed in the memory care area of the assisted living facility where she lived initially.
