Arbor Landing at Surfside

This is a beautiful facility. Although limited amenities, it’s perfect for an elderly person. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Residents seemed to be enjoying the activities. Super clean, and rooms were very nice. Although we have decided to stay where we are for as long as we can manage, Arbor Landing will be a top choice when we get to a point where driving and health become too challenging to stay in our current home.

I would give a 5 for all! Excellent facility. The staff is very accommodating and knows every resident by name. The one BR apt is the perfect size with lots of kitchen cabinets, a full size refrigerator and a cooktop. There are a lot of common areas around the facility to promote socialization, as well as, various planned activities to keep the residents engaged.

Memory Care - Don't let the pretty building sway you

My mother was at the memory care and what you see is not what you get. You get a nice big furnished room with a bed, tv, drawers and closet space. The activity director is great and provides activities M-F but weekends has little to no activities planned or activity. Residents are left to stare at each other. You do not get updates on progress and can ask periodically and get some information. Staff has a large turnover and residents and families are not introduced by name and function. The staff is very kind and caring. There's a lot of storage and the rooms are a good size. The facility offers daily activities which vary.
