Overall it's been a good experience. Staff is very helpful. They are very concerned about the well being of their residents. The food overall is good. The main menu varies from day to day. If the main special isn't to someone's taste they always have hamburgers, chicken strips, BLT's and more to accommodate the residents. The building is clean and seems to be well staffed. There are at least 4 sizes of apartments available. From studios to one bedroom apartments that range in size from small to large.

I toured Arbor Trace. The best thing I liked was the people. The facilities are also very nice. The least I like is the cost because we were going to have to pay out of pocket, but everything was good aside from the fact that we couldn't afford it. The living space was a little small, but it was nice and clean. It had enough room to live in, though it wasn’t like an apartment. It was basically a small living area with a bathroom. We are 6 months in to our parents living at Arbor Trace. The most important thing is the staff and theirs is fantastic. Nurses, physical therapy, food service all great. They will make sure your parents receive care 24/7. The business department will work with you to develop a plan that works for your family. We looked at three places in Richmond for assisted living and very glad we chose Arbor Trace.
