CriticalMy father has only been there for 9 days and there have been several incidents of neglect and maltreatment. He is on the second floor. 2C section to be specific. He is a bedridden diabetic who also has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. There have been times that they have forgotten to administer insulin for his uncontrolled glucose levels. He has experienced a rough, unprofessional, and undignified behavior at the hands of a CNA on an evening shift, because she was irritated that he had a bowel movement prior to her break…

CriticalProvidence rest , over medicate the patients. Please ask for a copy of all medication. They love to diagnose patients with mild dementia. My mom had no teeth , however they would bring her hot dogs and leave her in the bedroom unattended. They staff provides a fall risk environment, one they provide laxative during late evenings, therefore placing the resident at risk to use the bathroom late at night with little supervision. Make sure you make appointment to send your loved one out for a full physical. Trusting a …

CriticalExperience, if the resident is verbal and can address a complaint, they love to diagnose them with dementia . Resident with no teeth are given hotdogs and are allowed to eat alone in the room , choking hazard, resident who wear diapers are left soiled for more than three hours . Communication with doctors and staff is dangerous sad . Please check your loved one medication because they over medicated. This place is scary because it wears a mask it looks good , it’s hell hole

The majority of staff were very helpful, friendly & caring. They would even stop by just to see how she was feeling. I am very grateful for this nursing home. They brought my mother back to life giving her everything she needed. One stay dad & I actually had Thanksgiving with mom, staff, patients & their families. What a wonder…

PositiveThe physical appearance of Providence Rest Inc was very clean. The people were very professional. I was greeted very professionally. It seems like they're very organized. I was shown around, and I was pleased with what I saw. I saw some people in the eating area, and it seemed like a lot of people were eating. I saw people doing various exercises with like bands and weights. Some people were on the machine. So they offered different variations or types of exercises that would help each individual on a case-by-…
