We toured Artesian Place Assisted Living, which is right by the hospital. It's very clean, very nice, they had a lot of things to do, and the people were very friendly. I felt like I'd be comfortable in that kind of environment. The place was just pretty. The thing I liked was they have an alternate menu, so say if they made roast chicken and you didn't want that, there's a list of things you can choose from as an alternative. We have chosen Artesian Place Assisted Living for our mom. She is due to move in a few weeks. It was very clean. The staff was friendly, and the residents looked very happy. They have gathering rooms, meeting rooms, and where they do physical activities and puzzles. They have a library, a game room, a recreation room, and a movie room.

Good community, with less choices for meals.

They don’t follow their mission statement

Food is disgusting. No fresh food ever. Activities are a joke. Tired of coloring Staff does not follow through. Some of the staff care about us residents. Many don’t. Management is all about lip service, never listen to residents concerns. Housekeeping is not dependable. No transportation to dr appointments During Covid there’s no communication from management.

Move your family in

I've always talked up Artesian Place and recommended it. It's a terrific place. One of the biggest reasons why I chose it was because it was clean, and it didn't smell like some of these types of places can. Not having gone inside any further than the lobby since the Fall, the lobby area is always clean and refreshed and kept up-to-date. I noticed new chairs and flower pots, which I was pleased with. Great Staff

I would tell others to check out Artesian Place. They do take medicare as payment. The willingness to work with us for our loved one's placement is something that stands out to me. The staff are always great to deal with over the phone.
