The facilities appeared very clean and there were no offensive odors. All the staff seemed very friendly and cheerful. We observed the residence in a number of different activities, such as playing a game and doing art work.

The staff is just wonderful they know how to deal with the memory care patients with love and patience and if you have any questions they are there to assist in any way possible to find a resolution. I have nothing but praise for Artis. She has been there 3+ months and the family couldn't be any happier.

The tour at Artis Senior Living of Woodbury was wonderful. They have a great backyard, and it's fenced in. The staff was very friendly and informative. They knew their stuff. It was like a one-bedroom with a full-sized bed and a bathroom. They provided the furniture, so they had the bed and the dresser. That was really nice to have a good idea, not have people moving in their own furniture. The kitchen was nice and cozy and home-like. Very informational when we visited the place. However when my father in law was staying there, there were some problems with other residents coming into his room to urinate and go thru his stuff. Fortunately my FIL was able to move out of Artis as he did not end up needing that level of care.

This is a beautiful facility. A lot of careful planning and thoughtfulness went into making this place safe for loved ones with memory issues. It is wonderful that they furnished rooms available for new residents if need a place right away. They choose to have their own possessions there as well. I like that there is an option to stay there up to 14 days if a temporary place to stay in needed.

Staff is excellent, very friendly and personable. Lots of activities for the residents. Room is not real big but is sufficient. Place is very cheerfully decorated and kept very clean. Food is decent and very varied.
