My aunt is staying at Asbury Park Nursing & Rehab. It's a recovery place. It's noisy and something that nobody wants to be there. It's a little bit chaotic, but it's okay. It's not ideal, but it's the only place that will take people with physical and mental disorders. Her room is small. She said the food was okay and it was hospital food. They can improve on the cleanliness and overall, the noise. If I were there, I don't think I could recover from anything there.

DO NOT send your loved one here!!!! My 24 year old son was holding in this [word removed] for surgery. In the 2 1/2 weeks he was here he was left in anguish waiting for his pain meds, bathed once, left all day without water and his very basic needs. Covid protocols are non existent. He got Covid and surgery was pushed out two more weeks. Family removed him yesterday and took him to the ER with a fever of 102 and infection in his broken lag along with a blood clot. Operantly the hell hole stopped his blood thinners.…

My husband had increasing dementia and Parkinson’s. We were very impressed with the quality of care and the thoughtfulness and competence of staff. Not our first choice until we were actually there. Asbury became our first choice.

After dealing with them for 2+ weeks so far I can only assume that they are fabulists or incompetents, if not both. Their refusal to let my family speak to or visit my father and refusal to offer explanations is disturbing. The fact that each and every person you speak to will tell you a different story makes me question their truthfulness, their competency and my father's safety. I would NEVER recommend this place as there is no honesty or communication!

There's a sign at the sign in sheet area that says IF YOU HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID PLEASE WRITE NO so we're supposed to lie? Not okay at all for a facility to post that. Some CNAs are helpful some not at all. Nurse Chance is the best. Rooms are kinda dirty
