I visited Asher Point Independent Living of Montgomery. From my point of view, the rooms were nice. They were very small, though, coming from a home setting to a place like that. It was also more set up like assisted living, and I'm looking for something that's more independent living. I'm looking at the tenants and how the employees were dealing with them. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. The facility was upgraded recently and improvements were well done. However, the heat and air was a through the wall unit found in some motels. There was no kitchen or cooking in the rooms. The local area was in an improvised area and the facility itself was probably 40 plus years old. The biggest plus was the rental price. My father moved to the independent living community of Asher Point Independent Living of Montgomery, and I think he likes it very much. Our interaction with the staff has been good. He's in a 1-bedroom apartment with a balcony. There is a library, a game room, an exercise room, an activity room, laundry rooms, and a lunch room or cafeteria. I visited this facility

I toured Asher Point Independent Living of Montgomery yesterday. The overall experience was very good, and the facility was very clean. Everybody seemed pretty nice. The person who gave the tour was very friendly and very professional. We looked at an available room, and it was very clean and neat.

I have trouble getting in and out of the parking lot sometimes, especially when it get's crowded. It seems like the spaces are small. Our aunt is happy there, except she was promised a fix clearing her windows up that are foggy in between the panes and hard to see out of, but it's not happened. But it's been a general good experience
