Not a memory care

I would hope that a place for mom would research the communities they refer to more carefully. Ashley Manor is mot a memory care. Here In Oregon they have shut one building down and they other have lots of problems. Please check for memory care endorsement before advertising false information.

Too many residents with special needs, not enough attention to those who aren't! Although in the beginning it seemed okay and my Mom enjoyed it, as they filled up, it became an inappropriate environment for her and she fell through the cracks. She also does not want to go back!

Nice place, overall

Overall I think Ashley Manor is very nice memory care community. The people here are friendly and professional, and the facility itself is well kept and clean. They take good care of the residents, and the food always looks pretty good. They're receptive and accommodating when it comes to suggestions or problems, my Dad did figure out a way to get out once, but they quickly fixed the issue so it won't happen agian. Care for family member

Home is in nice community setting. Clean, 11 room facility with open living area ( living room, dining room, kitchen). Staff is available to family and most of staff are excellent with residents. Meals are balanced and homemade; posted on blackboard in common eating area. Fewer men than women. Most residents are at a higher level of acuity. Check out if interested, go spend some time to see if it's a good place for your family member.

This was clean, bright, caring staff. really a neat place. I think dad would be too active for this place right now. I liked the kitchen and dining lay out and living area. everything was newer than Brookhurst. they had several rooms available. this is a locked facility
