The staff, food quality, and sense of community are the main reasons we chose this facility. Everyone we’ve interacted with has been caring and professional, and the environment feels very welcoming. Our only concern is the cost relative to the room size. It is quite expensive, and if my mom eventually needs memory care, she would have to share a bedroom with another resident, which offers very little privacy. Exceptional Care and Genuine Compassion

My rating is influenced by the very loving and caring environment at Atria, Aquidneck Place, Portsmouth, RI. The staff is amazingly attentive, highly compassionate, and always willing to treat my mom like she was their own family member. I am endlessly grateful for the environment that my mother flourishes in.

This review is long overdue, but comes from the heart. In February, my mother spent a respite stay at Atria Aquidneck Place following a difficult accident. She had sustained multiple injuries - a broken and casted hand, fractured ribs, and a fractured pelvis - and was discharged from rehab sooner than expected. Grateful for Atria

In my search for an appropriate assisted living facility, for my mother, I never felt like another potential "resident income". There was great compassion and awareness as to the potential needs of my 87 yr old mother. And there was honesty as to what I could expect, and what would not be available to us. I visited this facility

Atria Aquidneck Place was a little bit farther away from home but still very close. It's on the island here, but it was about $3,000 more expensive than where mom is, and I could see it in the facilities and the things that they did. It was very high-end and it would have exhausted the funds that we had for paying for this facility. It is incredible inside, but it's not a five in terms of cost.
