We had an appointment with Atria Southpoint Walk, and we were a little late getting there, but the director came in soon after. The person who showed us around to begin with was the maintenance man. He fixed all the squeaky doors, wheels, and stuff, so he knew his way around. Ms. Wright was local, and she was very, very knowledgeable about who was there. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My parents have been in Atria Southpoint Walk going on five years. They have an assisted living component to it, but they're in the senior living community part. It's actually been a great present for them. My mom, who has dementia, is doing really well there. We just bring in-home caregivers to help out so that my dad doesn't have the full load, but he is thriving there. He's met friends. They do a lot of outings and movie nights in their theater room. I was a patient for three weeks after a knee replacement. I found my private room adequate general staff to be caring. I would rate these three staff members as five stars each: Amadu in Nursing, Mike in PT, and Sofia in Patient Aides. They were all excellent everyday during my stay. Bruce

Friendly residents and staff.

The people here are very friendly and helpful in brining in a new resident with my cat. Maintenance team very responsive. Large daily menu options in a lovely dining room. Many daily activities. You can be as social as you like.

A positive place to be

Virtually no activities for someone who is virtually blind. Price is on the high side. However, they are very friendly and helpful staff. Friendly residents as well. Food good. Many special fun events. Cocktail hour every weekday. On site physical, occupational and speech therapy available.
