I have decided to keep my husband at Autumnwood of Deckerville. I would recommend this facility, which has a locked-down facility for Alzheimer's/dementia residents. It has an excellent round-the-clock staff. They provide excellent meals, and there's excellent care from everyone. The cook called me for a list of my husband's favorites, and he's doing that. I really can't say enough good things about every one of them that I've encountered. The social worker is awesome. Everyone on the …

My mother is in Autumnwood of Deckerville and the care is pretty good. They give updates and they have a monthly meeting for each client there, so everyone can get caught up on their own families and what's going on. They do whatever her insurance will pay for, including the therapy. Her room was fine before when she had a roommate, but I believe they moved her and she doesn't have a roommate now. The place is locked, you have to get somebody to let you in and let you out. I was there once myself for reha…

My mother has been a resident of Autumnwood of Deckerville for close to 2 years now. When she was first settled into the facility, she was seeing and hearing people. But with the proper care, she is on medication that has eliminated this. I visit her twice a month,, for my peace of mind and to have chats with her. The staff are all terrific at what they do; from cleaning the room, giving her showers weekly, working with her pickyness for food, coloring her hair, and even involving her in daily activities.
