Avalon is a great place for loved ones needing a secure stay. The food was so-so. Need to do better for aging residents. Staff was attentive and friendly.

We didn't get a very good taste of Avalon Memory Care - Edinburg. What we took away was that this is a high-end luxury place, and it's expensive. The clients were in the living room, but they were all sleeping. There was only one older man playing cards with one of the facility employees. We didn't have a good perception. I didn't see the clients being involved other than sleeping in the recliners and covered with blankets. The rooms looked like a good size. The people that we dealt with were fr…
