Smooth transition for our mom

[name removed] is a 5/5! [name removed] is excellent and helped to make the move process and transition for my mom super smooth. The faculty is clean and appreciated the outdoor space. The studio apartment was the perfect size space for my mom's transition.

Overall positive experience

We've had mostly great experience here. The staff overall are wonderful with just a few exceptions and those aren't bad-just not quite the caliber of most of them. Activities are mostly boring I think but doesn't affect us-[name removed] isn't able to do any, anyway. I think they're trying do better and get more creative people. .

People there are very nice and are so caring for all the people. They actually love them and it shows. It's been a great place. Glad I made the choice. The caregivers are all very nice and show how much they care for the people here.

caring staff, would recommend

My mom had just become fully blind and was in an emotional state. Our choice was due to their lenient policy of allowing her to eat in her room with her food delivered as well as encouraging her to press her call button as often as she likes without feeling badly. She did have a bump in the first month with cold food but that was rectified when brought to their attention. Her 1 bedroom is spacious and comfortable with 2 heating/cooling systems. Initially our overall experience was good, but then my mom began getting up out of bed frequently and was a fall risk. I talked to the director and staff repeatedly about it and they continually left her bed alarm off. She had two falls within two days, the second time she broke her hip. They called me and told me she fell but that she was fine. When I came to check on her a few hours later I could see that one leg was shorter and rotated outward, indicating a hip fracture. She had hip surgery, was discharged back …

As expected, my review was answered not with accountability, but with a message not intended to address my concerns which the facility is very well aware of, one meant for an audience of prospective residents.
