PositiveMy mother lived her entire 86 years in Enid. She loved Enid and was always advocating for her community. She and my father selected the facilities now known as Baptist Village as their home more than 16 years ago beginning in a patio home before transitioning to the Health Center. We have witnessed such a caring and professional environment by the entire staff at Baptist Village even in difficult times with Dementia. We appreciate the care and kindness provided. We have had a wonderful experience and would highly r…

PositiveI toured the Baptist Village of Enid. They are working on an area. They used to have a waterfall on one of the walls, and they took it down. So, it's under construction, but it's still very nice. When you come in, they have a desk there. Then, you go on into the facility, where there are tables and chairs available for eating. It's like a bar where they can serve you food. And then just around the corner, is a nice auditorium where entertainment is available. The staff who gave the tour were very nic…

PositiveI will be moving into Golden Oaks Village. They have everything out there. You can start with cottages, and they have apartments, assisted living, nursing home, and skilled nursing. The staff during the tour was fantastic. I've been out there several times. I'm familiar with them. The food was great. I will have a two-bedroom two-bath cottage, living room, kitchen, and dining area. They have the church, exercise room, swimming pool, beauty shop, and a lake with the walkway around the lake. They have an ac…

Its a huge complex with only 2 guys to take care of the yard, so I had to do the yard work myself. The cottages were good, but old. They offered food, but you have to pay for it, and it was poor and cold. Once or twice a week they had a good meal, but the evening meals were awful. There had a library, indoor heated pool, hot tub, exercise room, and somebody came in to …

PositiveGolden Oaks was very nice. I enjoyed the location. It had a little pond there if you want to go fishing. The rooms were very nice. The residents seemed very pleased. They had free transportation for the residents if they want to go out.
