★★★★★
PositiveThe atmosphere is welcoming - friendly and bright. There is a good bit of natural light and common spaces indoors and outdoors to enjoy. The staff and residents are warm and caring.

PositiveI went to see the assisted living community of Barnes Place, but my brother needs a nursing home, so they won't take him. Other than that, the tour was great, and they were wonderful. The place was also lovely. I wish my brother could have gone there, but he can't. The room wasn't very nice, but I looked at one small room which would have been fine for him. It was pretty inside the facility, and the person who gave the tour was very informative, very helpful, and very kind.

PositiveTheir room was great. 1 Br, living room with kitchenette and large bathroom. Was not cleaned out after previous resident. This place does everything they can to up the cost. But my parent like it. They have cooking day in Grandma's kitchen, arts and crafts, and afternoons out.
★★★★★
CriticalStaff and facilities are great. Food is decent. Cost is high with many hidden cost. Thus my less than 5 rating.

PositiveBarnes Place is a very nice place. My husband liked it there as long as I was with him every day and I was. Money would have become a problem if he would have been there long term. It was the nicest place we visited.
