Bayfield in Bay City, Michigan is an absolutely beautiful place. I was so happy I was able to visit the complex. The Staff were so friendly and welcoming . It was nice too visit during the lunch hour and see happy seniors enjoy socializing. The grounds are beautiful. I loved the apartments. There was nothing I could find fault in. It would be a wonderful place for my 92 year old Mother to live.

Something that our family did not like was the entering and exiting of the facility. We often visit and come and go frequently. Having to wait for a staff member not only took that person away from another resident, but felt as though we were being annoying. Surely there is a better way to keep everyone safe. Perhaps personal key cards? Care staff was friendly and well suited for giving my mom the care she needed.

Bayfield assisted living is a GREAT place for your parent if you care about the treatment they get!! If I had to choose a place for my mom it definitely would be there. I work in the salon and see the care they get and see how the director engages with them on a daily basis the aids are so caring and helpful it makes my job easier and everyone is so on track with the care they give !!! I give them a 5 star review I love this place and so do the people living there!!
