I visited this facility

I toured BeeHive Homes of Amarillo. It's not a big facility. The unit was a nice, good-sized room with a little kitchen area with no stove and a nice bathroom. It was very stylish and fresh. When you come in the door, you come into a big open room that has a sitting area to the left with the offices of the employees around there. Then to the right was a big open kitchen that had a half wall around it, and it was all open, and the people that were cooking for them were in there. It was a big kitchen. To the rig…

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom moved into BeeHive Homes of Amarillo. We have dealt with them since about the first part of March, and they are doing great. They have been very, very compassionate and caring with helping her get adjusted. They met every need that we had and every concern, including everyone from the administration, nurses' aides, and the kitchen help. They have taken good care of her. Critical

I visited this facility

I did a tour of BeeHive Homes of Amarillo. It was adequate, but I'm not overly impressed. It felt like a place to live out the rest of your life. It looked like it was run on a shoestring budget. The staff were good; it was multitasking. It seemed like they had a smaller staff, and they had more things that were required. There was very little activity. There's not a lot of life going on there, there was very little living. You didn't feel like taking your loved one there or someone that you care abo…

I visited this facility

BeeHive Homes of Amarillo was very nice and clean. The staff was very helpful as far as explaining what they do. They have movie nights and a place they could step outside doing barbecue. The meals are included, and it was more of a home environment. The staff was very nice and welcoming.
