I visited this facility

I was disappointed with Bentley Suites by Serenity Care Health. It looked to me like it was a converted apartment building into a home and it was just very small, almost depressing. I didn't like it, but the lady was very nice. The staff seemed like they were friendly. They were mostly out in the courtyard. I was on the second floor because I had to go down some stairs and they don't have an elevator, but they have a lift that takes people up and down. Their TV room was small. Their kitchen was moderate. …

Another wonderful community that genuinely looks out for our senior population. Only respect and dignity are shown to the residents by the staff. For their residents, they show a lot of love and compassion. My parents also currently reside in[removed], one of many communities I have visited. I highly recommend both of these communities. Your dear ones are in capable hands.

We had a video tour, which I didn’t like. We didn’t seem to get a full view of the internal workings. I just didn’t care for it here. They were limited in the length of time our loved one could stay. And it was kind of a large building with multiple floors. It just wasn't the right place for us.

A happy place

Our love done moved in right before COVID, so we have not been able to visit for awhile, but we do know our loved one is happy there. Sometimes it is a little hard for us to get a hold of the staff. When we were able to go visit, this community appeared seemed very clean, and looked to be running well. The care givers are very sweet, nice and accommodating. They do play bingo and other games at this facility. Our loved one is able to interact with so many residents and is very engaged.

Bentley Suites was not acceptable to my friend. The rooms were not good. They did have activities, but it was a very small place, and it was expensive. The dining area wasn't fantastic, but it was alright. However, the staff members were very accommodating. Cleanliness was near the top, but not quite. One of the problems with this though -- as with many of the other communities -- is that they didn't separate the Alzheimer's people. They had the residents sort of in the same area.

Bentley Suites wasn’t the right fit for my parents. It’s kind of like a halfway house, not assisted living that would be proper for my father who has Parkinson’s. They’re going through renovation so it looks terrible from the outside but it’s like an old apartment building. There are maybe 16 units and the kitchen is in the back. Some of the windows are bordered up right now. My parents live close by so it would have been a convenient area. The residents there can get on the bus that stops right in front. They seem…
