My husband is in Bethany Home for long term. All their employees care about the residents. I feel he is getting the care he needs. Their employees have long-term longevity there. The staff is excellent. His room is very nice, clean, and bright. The meals are varied. I have not eaten there with him, but he says the food is good. They have a variety of activities every single day. They have religious services. They have events where the residents can come out and meet with other residents. He's going to get phys…

I like Bethany Homes because, first of all, it's 5-star rating. It's very clean, the personnel were very inviting, and they have a better staff to residents ratio. I like their 1-bedroom, it's spacious and clean. Another thing I liked about it is that they have a locked area for dementia patients. They have a screened-in porch out front where the residents can go and sit. And then in the back, off of the memory care unit, they have a solarium with some sunroof, where they can sit in there and there&a…

Bethany Home had apartments for independent living and assisted living. It was very nice and comparable to the others. However, it was fairly far over on the north end, away from everything, but it was a lovely facility. The new apartments built within the last five years were very nice, and the older ones were renovated and kept up when needed. It was one the most popular places.

We’ve moved my mom into Bethany Home in Dubuque. They’re very friendly, very committed to the patients, and very easy to work it. It’s a very nice place with good food. Their patients sit with four to six people at a table and get the choice of a small salad bar and two different main dishes. I am probably most impressed by the friendliness of the people, both the people who live there and the staff.
