My husband, [name removed], began his residency at Bickford of Bexley about two months ago in the memory care unit. At the time, he was only able to speak his native language, Russian, despite knowing four additional languages. The staff never let the language barrier become an obstacle. They went above and beyond to find creative ways to communicate with him, and Gene also found his own unique ways to connect with them. I visited the assisted living facility of Bickford of Bexley, and it was fine. They just have a lot of stuff there, so it looks kind of cluttered, and for older people, I don't think that's good. Other than that, the rooms were of average size, and they're clean. The staff members and the person who gave the tour were nice. The dining area was nice, and it had plenty of room. It also looked clean. The amenities looked decent, too.
