★★★★★
PositiveI toured Bickford of Grand Island. The food was excellent. The presentation was excellent. The flavor was excellent. It could have been a little warmer, but everything was delivered correctly based on our request, and when we asked for something extra, like salt and pepper, they brought it right away. It's homey, pleasant, and warm. You get a very welcoming feeling there. The rooms were nice. The staff was excellent, very responsive to questions, very pleasant, and very knowledgeable.

PositiveHe was only there 4 days before he died, but in that short time they took excellent care of him & also watched out for mom. They are still checking on us in September & he died in June. Staff very attentive to his needs & the the family needs as well. Food excellent.

Positivemy husband was a resident for several months. We only moved to another facility because he was eligible for a VA home. i visited him several times a week and unannounced. Always clean caring and professional. Everyone was professional and i would highly recommend Bickford to anyone seeking memory or assisted living care.
★★★★★
PositiveBickford of Grand Island seemed nice. It's got a very cozy and very homey environment. The people were very kind, caring, and very helpful. We had a good tour experience. The rooms were referred to as suites rather than apartments. So they were a little bit smaller, but still, they seemed very nice. They had activities scheduled and they provided transportation. It seemed like a very warm and inviting place.

CriticalI toured Bickford of Grand Island. I think they were understaffed, and I just wasn't impressed. The rooms were very dated. I just did not have a good feeling when I went there. I didn't see any people. There was nobody out walking around. It was just eerie. I saw the dining area but nobody was eating or anything like that. It didn't look dirty, but it could stand to be updated.
★★★★★
PositiveMy visit to Bickford of Grand Island was very good. The facility is clean, it's wonderful there, and you can tell they're caring for the residents. The people were very nice and the director took the time to show me around to different rooms according to our income. So they were wonderful. They also had a lot of nice activities going on. They have amenities like a salon, and they have a minister that goes there.
