PositiveOur experience
They are trying. There are staffing challenges and they have little to no help from corporate. They went through like 4 executive chefs in as many months. Things are much better now in the kitchen. They have had turnover in their entry level positions, as all businesses do. It makes it hard to keep retraining people. Activities is a 5, administrators are a 5, shuttle driver is a 6! My loved one loves him!

I liked Bonaventure of Maple Valley, and I was going to sign up and put my brother there. They told me what the price would be, which was fine. Then I went back a couple of days later to do the paperwork, and they changed the price on me. It nearly doubled, and it upset me. It's a fairly new place, and it looked nice and clean. The facility is lovely, new and very well appointed. Rooms are very nice. Lots of activities to choose from and a lot of different things. Currently, they are doing a dog training program for the residents.

They have high turnover in staff. The food is mediocre to bad. The services promised/paid for are not consistently delivered (such as weekly housekeeping / sheets+towels) for those without in-unit laundry, there have been issues with common area machines not working for an extended period (they've been open less than 2 years).
