Staff are wonderful. Activities wonderful. Food is good but could be better. Kitchen service is slow. The carpeting needs to be replaced in common areas. Individual room are spacious, clean and very nice.

PositiveMy Brother in Law has has lived here for over 2 years and is residing in the memory care unit and has been really happy and content and well taken care of. The director, Ian, and all the staff has been very professional and responsible for his daily needs and are quick to act on any problems that may arise. The family is included and involved in all activities and social events.

I liked the setting at Brandywine Living at Haverford Estates. The design of the smaller rooms created a feeling of intimacy. It did not look institutional. It had lovely grounds for the residents that looked inviting and there were a lot of people out there. Everybody looked quite happy and content. Everybody was very friendly and very outgoing. All of the residents looked engaged and not just sitting there. The residents spoke with us and the staff greeted us. The facility felt much more home-like because of the …

The chef was excellent. The food was specially made and they could accommodate dietary needs. The care was wonderful. a great staff team. and always at least one nurse on site. They had a neuropsychologist on staff that would do cognitive activities with with residents. They had a beauty salon and offered religious services for the residents to attend. The community was aesthetically very nice with beautiful outside areas as well. They even offered the residents wine , cheese, and crackers all day.
