We love the location, love the patient portal. Maintenance issues are really bad though and there are not enough activities. I just think the residents there are waaaay past living in the real world.

All the "5" categories speak for themselves. The cost of residency seemed much too high. Her monthly rent was $[removed]. My opinion is it was about overpriced by 50-75%. The deposit was $[removed]; none of which was rebated back when she vacated, leaving the apartment in excellent condition. I liked the location and how nice the staff was. Everyone there seemed to like their job. I do think we were mislead on how " mentally with it" the residents are. VERY few, if any, are really functioning in the real world, so to speak. It seems that almost everyone has glaring memory and behavior issues... not just small issues. We moved my aunt in because we were told that it was the best place in town. It is also close to our new house. Within a month, my aunt had gained 20 lbs, she was swollen from head to toe and having trouble breathing. Because we were new in town (in fact we hadn't completely moved to San Angelo) I asked the charge nurse for a referral to a doctor and asked her to make the arrangements for her medical care.
