Horrible and fake! They do not understand dementia or memory care. Waste of money and nursing is clueless!

Aside from a couple exceptions, the Care team at Bridges Hingham is undertrained, lazy, uncaring, and cold to the residents. They do the very basics of what is required for personal daily care, in terms of dressing, toileting, laundering, and putting food in front of people. But that’s about it. There’s no even feigned attempt by the CNAs to engage, reassure, or be empathetic to the residents. And the management excepts this knowingly, without supervision or intervention, except for gross misbehavior, when caught. …

Nice facility, poor care

We wanted to like Bridges. They answered all the questions we asked in a way that reassured us. We gave it a chance with a loved one for over a year. Some aspects of it are nice. The facility, the friendly receptionist, the bright and cheerful lighting, the food, and the green grounds. But, buyer beware. The training for CNAs at Bridges is woefully and willfully inadequate. And the supervision is almost *completely absent.* The staff who give your loved one hands-on care, for the most part, could really care less. …

Resolved

I wanted to make sure I keep everyone updated on what happened. We resolved the whole situation. Bridges had a few people involved to explain to us what happened and how things came to be. The problem is resolved and we are on good terms now, I was concerned my in laws were not being treated properly but come to find out they truly are being cared for and it will all a misunderstanding. Thank you Bridges of Hingham for sticking with us and explaining everything in full.

I think it is a pretty good place, overall it is a good value. Would like to see it a little cleaner. A little more attention to the residents and patients whom have memory problems. Overall generally a pretty good place for our loved one.

We absolutely love the Bridges, it was such a great choice for us. They not only are excellent with our fathers care but they also are very attentive and accommodating to our families needs. This community is perfect for him.
