Due to the carelessness of the staff and entire healthcare facility, my grandfather died from COVID-19 which was spread by one of the staff members in the center. He could have lived much longer if it wasn’t for this healthcare center’s recklessness. Now there are 43 COVID-19 positive residents confirmed in the center where less than 60 residents resides and 23 COVID-19 positive staff confirmed. Broadway Healthcare has Mandarin-Chinese speakers, which is kind of important for my mom who does not speak English very much. The staff is very helpful. Whenever we have questions, they answer us, and if there is any issue or problem, they will call us promptly. My mom has her food brought to her, and the food is OK. My mom is in a limited diet. My mom is in a nursing home called Country Villa. She has been there for a few months now. A friend of mine recommended this one. I love this nursing home. I am a pastor and consultant. One Saturday every month, I visit the residents of Country Villa Broadway Healthcare Center. As a member of Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena, there are several members who are also residents. I am there to visit them and serve communion.
