It was a great overall experience and they really cared for my mom compassionately at the end of her life. Room size was good, we had a studio and it was the perfect size. Mom didn't eat the food very much, but she stopped eating as she was dying, so it's hard to tell if it was the food or if she was just going through her natural process. The staff are so caring and professional. My mom had a difficult transition from home as she has dementia with agitation but the Brookdale Walden Ridge staff have been so patient and caring with her. We are very thankful and Yes i would definitely recommend Brookdale Walden Ridge to families seeking memory care for a loved one.

On several visits to his room after they sent him away for being uncooperative, not one person from the director, nurse, or any staff members who knew him so much as asked how he was doing. Personal items such as labeled clothing and bed linens went missing and oddly enough clothing items not belonging to him would be hung in his closet even though the sizes were often too small and they were labeled with someone else's name.
