The family atmosphere that was always present at the facility. The care was exceptional, and everyone was so very friendly. It made mine and my husband's experience so much better. Even though my husband passed away in September I still miss a lot of the people that were there.

There is such a homey and pleasant atmosphere at Brookdale. The residents at Brookdale do not "have to" to get up in the morning if they do not want to. My husband is one of those that does not always want to get up very early in the morning. The residents get up whenever they are ready and breakfast is always available whenever they are ready to eat. The staff is tremendous! They treat all the residents with the utmost respect. I visited her virtually every day, wanting to spend as much time with her as possible, not knowing how much time was available. During that time there was, no doubt, as to the degree of attention and care she received from EVERY caregiver.
