My cousin constantly complains about the food service. She says by the time food is brought to the table, it is always cold and not fit to eat. Also, the food staff is often rude to the residents. Her other main complaint is about laundry facilities. There are only 2 washers and dryers available for each floor. She often has to wait until late at night to have access to a washer. And often one of them is out of order.

My husband and I went to the Brookdale Charlotte East apartments unexpectedly to see where it was located. I called [name removed] to tell her we were outside the facility and she called [name removed], the Director of Sales and Marketing. We weren’t scheduled for a visit, but [name removed] took the time out of her schedule to share extensively about the facility/property. Great choice

Brookdale is great! My mother in law is very happy there. It was so clean, the food is great, the staff are caring , and the apartment is a perfect size down for her .

Great place and the food is awesome! I got my sis into the facility and am so impressed. They have bent over backwards to make everything work. The staff is very helpful and pleasant.

It could be better

Food is not good. It's a bit too institutional for my taste. The place feels a bit disorganized. The size of apartment is fine.
