Brookdale Dodge City

Very clean, fresh smelling and an alive atmosphere!! The apartments are clean and up to date, nice size and every room has a window!! There is a big sense of community! The courtyard is so pretty with lovely chairs to sit and relax in and enjoy and outdoor setting with your loved one!!

I visited this facility

I toured Brookdale Dodge City and it was very nice. The manager was ready for us. We sat and visited first, and he made out some information for us from what I'd given him before. He explained their facility a little bit, and then we took a tour, and we were able to see two different rooms. One was furnished and then one was unfurnished, so we could see if we brought our mother's furniture and how it would fit. Would definitely suggest them for more independent loved ones.

Overall, I think Mom had pretty good care. I think if your family member is independent, the care is much better. The more independent they are, the better the care is. I would say about 75% of the staff did a great job. Like every other place right now, they're understaffed. I have not tried the food, but the food I saw served to Mom always looked really good. And they seemed to have a lot of activities.

Our tour was on the 26th and was wonderful. Was impressed with the whole facility. Mom liked it, but as expected she kept telling everyone she wasn't ready. She won't ever be ready.

Tender Loving Care!

Everything is going just fine for my loved one at Brookdale! The facility is well maintained and the staff are sure to cater to my loved one's needs. The meals seem to be very good, and my loved one gets the opportunity to participate in activities. This is a nice facility!

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My mom is at Brookdale Dodge City, and, so far, it has been great. I could not ask for more. She has a studio with a bathroom and a place to put her bed and her furniture, plus a TV with cable. They have a small area where there's a microwave and a small refrigerator and a very large closet area. I am very satisfied with the place. The staff has been great. While I have had a few issues, they have all been corrected.
