I can not say enough about the loving care my brother received from the staff, nurses and hospice team. He was treated with love and dignity even when his illness caused adverse behavior. They understood that it was the disease and not my brother. We found the room size to be very nice and the cleanliness was pretty good. A memory care that made a difference

Staff: Excellent attention Professional Kind and thoughtful Communicative Fair Food: Appeared to be plentiful and healthy. Offered snacks and drinks. Our Mom did not want to eat much, however. Clean and did NOT smell of urine or garbage. Items stayed where they needed to stay. Garbage was removed. Hallways were always clean. Bathrooms could be updated, however. Brookdale Grand Blanc Memory Care

1) potential care facilities reaching out to me asking if they could answer any questions. At the time we were considering placing my mom I did not know who to call. This service brought them to me. 2) we needed an immediate placement and I was in constant contact until this happened. 3) I felt like all my questions were answered and if they weren't they got me in contact with someone who could give me accurate information so I could make an informed decision.

The staff seems to be very caring. Other than some discounted rates, nothing specific that i can think of by way of improvement.

The staff at Brookdale are overall very caring and kind to both residents and families. They do all they can to make residents feel that this is their home and that they are important. They try to educate the staff as new situations come up. My loved one has aphasia and when he moved in, they did not have any other residents with aphasia. They had a training for staff on how to care for aphasia patients

Highly recommend

Professionalism and honesty is what stood out. I would definitely recommend to others. I think the facility has a friendly staff, is clean, uplifting and the rooms are nice size.
