My mom's experience at Brookdale has been good overall. Her room is spacious and clean. She has eaten well with all food included in her residency plan. I receive all monthly invoices in the mail, which is important for me to have that transparency. I receive monthly wellness check up calls where I can discuss any open issues or concerns.

The small memory care unit had a very nice layout and the rooms were laid out well. The common areas were also well appointed and there was access to the outdoor living space.

We visited Brookdale Greenwood Village and toured for memory care. We liked the staff, but we disliked the facility. It was old, dark, and dingy. The facility was poor. We were impressed, especially with the Hispanic staff there, as we observed them for quite a while.

Absolutely the worst place ever! The food was awful, the staff was not very nice and took over 30 minutes to come see what was going on once the buttons were pushed for help. Staff is disrespectful. They didn’t give the care that was promised on the tour and I was extremely upset on how my mom was treated! Definitely not a place to put your loved one if you want them cared for. They sent my mom out because I wanted to make a complaint on how she was being treated!! Horrible place!!

My mother received excellent care at Brookdale for rehab after being in the hospital. The facility is very nice. All residents have a private room. My mother was pleased with the food. She had helpful physical therapy and speech therapy. There are a number of activities that resudents can engage in, according to their abilities and interests. The staff was attentive and responsive.
