Some of the staff were great and some were not helpful at all. They have small activities that are very simple and mom was never interested. The food was fine. Had some variety and always looked appealing. The facility was clean but they didn't clean her room very much. The size of the room was adequate

The staff is friendly, though they often seem overworked due to the high turnover rate. That’s been my biggest concern with Brookdale. Otherwise, the community is clean, welcoming, and makes a genuine effort to keep residents engaged with activities. The food is sometimes comparable to school cafeteria fare and can be repetitive. I supplement my mom’s meals with groceries to add some variety, but overall it’s adequate. The room sizes are reasonable, although I’m upgrading my mom to a larger room for an additional…
