Good location and personal touch

My father was a resident for about 2 months. The initial care was amazing. The small facility lets the ratio of caregivers to residences seem to fit perfectly. There was an issue with billing at the end but was quickly resolved. I would recommend this facility.

We thought this place was very nice and what we are looking for. If we decide to place our mom, this will be the place.

The staff is very caring and some go out of their way to make sure my mom is well taken care of. They are very receptive to concerns and handle things quickly to improve the situation. I truly appreciate the service you provided when I had to find my mom a place quickly. I have recommended you to several friends!

Not a good fit for us.

Let me say first, I don’t think this was a good fit as most residents here have severe dementia. Staff is very friendly and easy to reach when needed. The place is clean and looks nice. Having said that, there seems to be disorganization and not enough staffing over the weekend. I’m not sure choosing alternative menu items is really offered, and it seems like they are given the same things over and over. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother has moved into Brookdale Leawood State Line. It's nicely furnished and it's homey, but yet it's been updated and clean. I like all the staff very much. So far, everybody's been friendly and helpful.
