Just wasn’t prepared for Mom’s accident to remove her from her home permanently…my sister/ niece had been planning 2 months prior to her fall for no reason other than they don’t have any time to visit her home… help or step in…leaving my Mom and I out of any/all conversations. When I visited Brookdale, everyone couldn't have been more outgoing and friendly. The residents are obviously a happy group of folks! [name removed], as family, was particularly welcome at all times - meals and social occasions while transitioning her brother to Brookdale and his new "buddies".
