The staff at Brookdale Newberg are absolutely wonderful.

I visited this facility

I toured Brookdale Newberg. It's very close to where my son lives, and it was very good. The director that I spoke with was very, very helpful and very nice. He took me through the main building, and I was also able to visit one of the cottages, which I really appreciated. He just told me everything about it. That was very interesting and good. Facility was very clean, staff helpful and very attentive to residents. Residents were in good spirits and got along well with staff Place not able to meet our needs since we need care after a surgery rather than a living location. I would be happy to live at Brookdale in Newberg if it was for me!

Everybody at Brookdale Newberg seemed very friendly. The facility was clean. It seemed like people were engaged. The staff was very friendly and informative. They have three meals a day provided. If somebody needed something delivered to the room, they could have things in their room as well. They have tons of activities, and the residents even get to get together in a resident council and vote on what things they want to do for the next month. They have outings outside of the facility. Overall positive experience

I would rate each item a"5". The only problem we had was sometimes getting hold of someone on the weekends. Once your family member makes a personal connection with a staff member things seem to settle into place fairly easily.

Good For Dad

They have nice spaces for family gatherings and a fun cafe space above the dining room. Rooms are a nice size. I think there has been too much turnover in the Administrative role.
