A wonderful place!

The entire staff are extremely responsive to their clients and their families ! It is very clean , food menu covers wide variety, there are daily activities with special events each month . The apt size, if not split for 2 , is ample for a seating and sleeping areas . Truly, I have nothing to say against this place or the staff . I am a retired PT , have lived throughout the country, practiced with geriatrics . So I know when I see a wonderful facility!

The main issue I had with the facility, it might have been a misunderstanding on my part but my resident received very little personal attention. No vital signs, temperature or any of that information was checked. He was left in his wheelchair for most of the time there and actually fell out of it several times. He also developed an infection along his midsection from leaning over for such long periods of time. He received little to no assistance bathing or personal hygiene. The facility was light, bright, and well maintained. Residents were happy & engaged with each other. Staff was positively engaged assisting residents, and happy to answer questions I had. Community and activity areas were plentiful and well placed. My representative from Marketing & Sales [Name Removed] was very knowledgeable and followed up on my status and open questions.

Brookdale Painted Post was close to our house. It was a very nice place, so we liked it. They have friendly staff. The menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner looked very good. The rooms were tidy. The residents seemed to be happy. The staff members I met were all super and very informative. The place was very clean. It's one level. There were a lot of rooms. It reminded me of hotel hallways, but it was pretty clean.

My father is at Brookdale Painted Post. It's closer to where he already lives, and it was a better value. It looks nice. The staff is very active and involved with him. They help him get to the dining hall, they check in several times throughout the day, and they help him shower. They generally check on how he's doing on a regular basis.
