The staff is kind, caring and ready to assist. It's always very clean. Laundry service is most helpful. Activities and entertainment is good. My sibling has a studio, with private bath which is lovely and easily maintained. She is very happy and I take comfort in knowing she is always safe. The meals need to be improved; options, quality and service with emphasis on the senior resident dietary needs.

Food is sub par and when you ask for another item that is on the menu as a substitute they become upset and rarely do you get it. Servers are pleasant but kitchen staff is abhorrent. Call button pressed and no one came. Resident called family and family called staff Resident was in the floor for an hour

PositiveBrookdale is a new beginning
Brookdale has been a wonderful decision for my sister [name removed]. Please warn families they charge $[removed]/ month to give daily meds. It's "outrageous" also the highest rate in all of Jefferson County KY. Families need to be forewarned so they can be prepared. I'm still in shock and probably would have made a different choice, based on that cost. However, my sister is adjusting well and she is happy. My family is working with her doctor to reduce her meds for 5 pills/day to only 2.

PositiveMy experience was great. [Name Removed] the sales manager was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The facility is very nice. It has pleasant inviting outdoor grounds surrounded by trees. A nice area for sitting outside or just strolling the grounds. The rooms are very spacious with amenities of being home.
