Tour with [name removed] was excellent. She covered all aspects of the facility explaining in detail and answering all questions. Very kind, courteous and caring. The facility is beautiful , very clean and all staff very pleasant. Great amenities for residents.

The apartment or room is very small, but the staff keeps it very clean. The staff is friendly. My cousin complains about the food being more or less the same every day. They were friendly enough when we picked them out, but did very little to socialize my cousin after she got there.

It is difficult to provide many details since I am in Michigan and don't observe day to day operations. My brother sees her regularly and we do talk about how the facility is working out for our Mother. Mom is just not happy and I think it doesn't have much to do with the facility. I do think they could work a little more on encouraging her to get involved with the activities and other residents but she has a mind of her own.

I visited this facility

We visited the assisted living facility of Brookdale Sugar Land. They're very friendly and caring, and the facility is clean. They seemed to be genuinely interested in what was going on with the residents. The room shown to us was ample. We also visited the dining area, although we didn't eat there, it seemed very nice. Their location just wasn't right for us.

This facility was very clean and welcoming. [Name Removed] was a fountain of knowledge and extremely helpful. My loved one decided to go to a group home environment instead of a facility. Otherwise, Brookdale was an easy choice to make.
