CriticalMy husband is in Brooklyn Gardens Nursing and Rehab. They're understaffed. He's on the second floor. You walk into the ward, and you smell people's diapers where they have feces and urine on them, and the floors are sticky. I would not recommend anybody to go there. I've tasted the food, and it's nasty. They have the women staff giving the men showers, and that should not be. It should be a man giving a man a shower, or at least watching the man while he showers, not women. They have staff …

CriticalMost rooms are shared, The food is unappetizing a majority of the time I order for my family because they don’t like what’s being served. There’s a few good staff members who actually care about their job but majority is just there for the bottom of the barrel check. They have no phone etiquette, they don’t know how to conduct themselves while at work, and overall disgusting. They have denied my family member outpatient medical treatment in which caused her to temporarily lose her mobility skills.

PositiveMy father was at Brooklyn Gardens Nursing and Rehab for 2 months. I liked the facility. I felt that the staff was very caring, attentive, and helpful. My dad liked the food that they served. One thing about this facility that's nice was they had an enclosed and secured outside patio area where a lot of the residents could go outside freely. They had barbecues for the residents on Wednesdays. The physical therapy was very good. Overall, it was a really good facility.

PositiveMy brother was at Brooklyn Gardens Nursing and Rehab. The place was nice and well-kept. It was very clean all the time. He was in a shared room, but it was nice and well-kept all the time. It had a bathroom inside and it was clean too. They had a little place where they go outside and a little picnic area where they could sit down. They had a game room with board games. My brother used the exercise equipment and played board games while he was there. The staff didn't seem friendly and they didn't assist i…

PositiveI liked Lucille Rose Adult Day Health Care Program when I visited there. The place was very secured. There was security personnel around and non-residents were not allowed to get in unless thoroughly inspected. I was not able to look at the rooms but the lobby was beautiful.
